I'm in a group home, my cat is with me. I have Cerebral Palsy & Autism. I been living here for almost 2 months, I had 6 meltdowns & my brain shut off 3 times, THEY BLAMED ME for my meltdowns. My social worker wants me to move to another group, I may not be able to take my cat, I NEED HER!! I need her for my mental health, she is my child, my baby, people don't abandon their children. The people in the new group home wants to work on my meltdowns. My sister want to find me a low income apartment, but she can't look now. Moving twice will be toooooo much & ALOT of stress for me & my cat, she already having separation anxiety & she can hiss at people sometimes. Things can be Pretty Bad here. I rather die than temporally give up my cat.

I'm so sorry Kitty.
That does sound like a nightmare.

I wish I knew how to help you.

Can she be listed as an emotional support animal by your doctor?
