I was going to join in the thread, but I didn't participate as much as I anticipated due to being ill. :cry:

I tend to agree though, the thread does seem to have been a flop, unfortunately.

In case Im not here later to dish it out, please help yourself. There'll be roast carrots, parsnips and roast potatoes that are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Also Brussels sprouts, but finely chopped and fried until like a crispy snack.

Plus more chestnuts, but this time boiled.

Also Yorkshire puddings, my fave.

I'll leave the main to someone else though, don't want to accidentally give food poisoning cos I'm not good with cooking turkeys.

I started this thread less than 48 hours ago in the midst of a family crisis and I’ve posted as much as I can. It’s already 20 pages long so I don’t think it’s anywhere near a fail, with or without CR’s contributions.

Also Christmas is 12 days long, with the 25th being only Day 1. That’s why this party goes until the 6th of January.

There’s lots of time for people to drop in, including New Year’s Eve / Day.

Lots of people are sick right now too so I hope they feel better soon and can join us if they’d like.
