It took me a loooong time to know that it was the same guy!
8O :?

Damn! The movie currently on tv is Curtain Call with Michael Cane, he still looked good, and it's not from even from the beginning of the nineties, it's from 1999!!

I watch him in Boston Legal, he's fantastic and does extremely well on screen with William Shatner.

Wasn't he on the Practice as well?

The Practice turned into, morphed into Boston Legal, like a spin-off in slo-mo.

Yeah, I was taken aback-didn't even recognize him at first on Boston Legal (watched few episodes but didn't like the series). He was pretty good looking, back in era of "Sex Lies & Videotape", however I realize that was almost 2 decades ago.

It's more jarring when it seems sudden (appearance change-after having not seen person in years), rather than gradual (like with the people one sees every day).

Total guess, just because Kathleeen Turner talked about this happening to her-she has medical problem & the steroids she takes for it made her gain weight & her face got puffy. So, who knows, maybe it's that-or maybe just plain old getting old ?

I really liked him in "Sex, Lies and Videotape".

I think hes a fine actor no matter what he looks like, and I happen to love him in Boston Legal.
But bear in mind that I'm also "old" and "hot" guys turning "middle-aged-spread" really doesn't bother me that much. :D

 I hear ya! I think it's just aging. I mean my body doesn't look the same as it
did in the 80's either and we are only a few years apart in age. My face isn't round like
his but my body is more...womenly then it was before. I'm happy I have cleavage now
just not so thrilled that I'm buying clothing that has 2 numbers instead of 1 :?
