You know what's BS (thank you, James Rolfe)? Whenever I'm on my computer, my parents CONSTANTLY come into my room to see what I'm doing. Suppose I were watching a navel play video (which sadly, I'm addicted to) and they walked in. They would castrate me!

I think more kids needs to have more parents like yours. Any juvenile on a computer (especially if it's not theirs) should be always monitored. That includes you, little boy. So stop complaining about little kiddie crap and be glad your parents are looking out for you!

YES, the same thing happens to me, I find it very annoying too!

My parents are great, let me preface by saying that. But...

My mom is hyperemotional, which obviously conflicts with my AS traits. She is sensitive, and I can be callous, but we've learned to deal with that from one another... mostly.

My dad is easygoing, which is good overall, except when it keeps him from confronting problems that need confronting.

First of all, this is why I'm glad that I live on my own.

Second of all, what's a navel play video, or should I ask?

I don't need my parents to look out for me! I'm a legal adult as far as the law is concerned, so I can look out for myself!

So you're saying that parents have the right to install hidden cameras in a child's room? Also, I'm fifteen years old, so don't you dare call me a "little boy", Duke!

Whenever anyone comes in to the room I always minimise my internet, pause my game or something simmaller, or turn down the volume, or all three! My mother comes in and thinks I'm watching porn or something:( A friend of mine never minimises or pauses, and keeps on playing/ browsing I find it weird:s I minimise becasue I always think the person who sees will think "What an idiot he's looking for. at [ whatever I'm on]"

Your parents do mean well by checking on you but at the same time, doing it constantly is not productive.

Are they doing it to see if u are looking up adult websites (porn)?
If that is the case why not just use a parental lock, plenty of companies sell effective web filters for that purpose.

I have heard of ISP's that let parents choose which sites they don't want their kids to see and block them.

I'm almost sixteen. I think I have a sense of what's right and wrong when it comes to websites; I'm just addicted to belly button fetish videos on YouTube.

I won't say I hate my parents, but that there are certains things about them that I dislike, like them mistreating my stuff. GRRRR, when we moved, and my mom was looking how to organize my furniture, she was rather harsh on some of it. 'Mom, what're ya doing?! !! ! Careful!! ! Gizmoduck's picture is in there! No, you're not supposed to turn the tv on that way! You may hurt it!' and looking at me like grow up! I'm just awfully attached to all my posessions.

mine do this too. it aggravates me, as it disrupts the whole purpose of being in my room...which is to have alone, recharging time.

I am not saying that u don't have a good sense of right and wrong when it comes to the web. I was just thinking that if your parents are so worried about the sites u choose to visit, why not use a web filter. instead of coming in and checking on u constantly.
Or even better, why don't they talk to you about what sites u choose to visit if it worries them so?

never heard of belly button fetish videos before.

I hate my parents for... kind of coercive.

They want me to continue their herbal business which I have no interest in.

I prefer urban planning though, which could be unsuitable for me as I am still not socially adept enough.
