Well it all started several months ago with Dr. Voltieni and his electric side show at Carters Steam Fair, The finally of the act was the firing of a Tesla Coil in a cage in the corner of the tent :)

Some time later my friend had the DVD The Sorcerer's Apprentice, she was quite unaware what Tesla Coil is and how much fun they can be so I found her some you-tube clips of Arc Attack and I have not stopped obsessing on them since.

Damn, damn! I cry I know the only thing for it is to build one :) :) :)

Cool! I've never seen anything like it. I have been on tour at the National High Magnetic Laboratory, which has a Tesla coil, but I didn't get to see the Tesla coil demonstration. I didn't know you could do something like that with it.
