The quinoa salad that I made myself is absolutely delicious. It's very easy to make and healthy, too.

The saucepan was sitting on the stove for exactly 30 minutes. It took five minutes to start boiling and I left it simmering for 25 minutes.

I guess I cook as well as my cat. I cook stuff on the stove and I always end up having to scrape black stuff off the bottom at the end. I usually get the precooked quinoa.

I think quinoa is easier to cook than something like rice. I don't bother cooking rice because it often sticks to the bottom of the pan and gets burned. Because quinoa is not sticky, it won't easily burn. I followed the instruction printed on the bag of quinoa. Precooked quinoa must be pretty expensive.

there is a place here called the "shop n'hop which sells "scratch and dent" remainders from other area stores, so when I buy the precooked quinoa it is like a buck per box.

^ Sounds really cheap. How many grams of precooked quinoa in a box? Where I live, a 500g bag of uncooked quinoa costs $9 to $10.

Frying up six cans of Spam in the church kitchen, a couple-dozen eggs, and some garlic-flavored rice, and watching some hungry homeless people wolf it all down.

They even said, "Thank you"!

:D :D :D :D :D
