Define the term "neek"

When I was at school, my friend used to call me a neek. What exactly is a neek?

Someone who's part nerd and part geek. I wouldn't want to be called that.

It's the same as being called a geek, I get called this frequently unfortunately.
Never really taken the word too seriously anyways.

I guess I could just take it as a compliment otherwise.
