Now I want to miss members who solely posted once over ten years ago.

I don’t really miss that many people, just a couple. I only started getting to know members/forming friendships over the past couple of years. I’d miss a lot of current users if they left.

I don't remember that user, but I'm sorry to hear. But how would you even know if someone died?

You reminded me of a user named ruveyn. He was an older fellow and fairly active, then disappeared out of nowhere. I wondered if he did pass away (or became incapacitated). Prior to his sudden disappearance, he showed no signs of slowing down. Anyone know about ruveyn?

(Can imagine you checking through lists of WP records to find the names and puzzle who they were... Is a prank I would have done bt not guilty this time!)

I actually miss an autistic guy from a model railway site (Actually two) and he was a member here as well (Both were), and sadly this guy either died or ended up in long term care (We don't know which). A moderator from the model railway site was given the task to write to where he lives as seveal of us who were concerned for him dida search and one member found out where he lived as he was on several model sites, and his address was given to the moderator who sent a letter. I think he had died but I was not directly told that. Was told he won't be returning to the site. (His house was empty as someone did a google search as we had not heard fromhim for over a year and got a google picture and his house was totally empty. He used to use the windows of his cottage for model railway displays that people outside could make run by pressing a button. All that was gone. He shared pictures on the site of his lovely window displays...)

Now I don't just get occasional prosopragnosia moments but I can also get these moments with user names as well. Now I remember the first member who was "Emettman" (Not sure if it is spelt correctly). But I can't remember the username of this second member.
Second person was on the model railway site and had pristine Hornby Dublo 3-rail models which wwere stolen by a builder doing renovations of their house. They knew who did it but he lost his models and police were involved etc. His Mum used his account and sent me a message as I offered him my HD 3-rail collection instead as I don't like to think of him without trains. She thanked me but said he didn't want them as his were personal to him which I fully understand. I do not remeber who it was as sometimes it just vanishes from my memory. I hope he is ok. I know he was on this site. He may still be here. When I see his username reply I will know who it is because I get "Triggers" so I will know I have the right person by the styles of what they say. (Facebindness means I study patterns people give out instead).

It would be nice to find this second person... I would really love for the first person to be alive because his models were amazing and unique!

How can you not miss someone with that username? The “j” in Jesus should be capitalized though.

Any word on ruveyn? He was one of the prolific ones I remember who just stopped posting out of nowhere. He may no longer be with us, but I have no way of knowing.

Do you still keep in touch with Tallyman? I recall he was an Englishman living in France and was a moderator for quite sometime. He was fairly frank about his suicidal tendencies and postulated he may ultimately take his own life someday. I hope he's still among the living.
