Do you ask others for permission.

I mean, superiors , parents, boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse.

What I mean is that when you ask someone for permission, you can always denied, so better is do what you want and eventually apologize :D

Sometimes it's easier to be forgiven for doing something without permission than to get permission in the first place.

I ask my husband's permission about everything. And he, in his wisdom, knows better than to say no.

Permission for what? I don't think I'm in any position too often where I'd have to ask permission but I suppose I do when what I'm asking about might affect someone else or break a rule. For example, I asked my landlord if I could have a cat when I moved in or I might ask my mother for permission for certain things, like if I could make a major purchase with her money or throw something away that she might want.

Sometimes, the punishment is worse than the reward of doing what you wanted. Better to ask on the big stuff.

I hardly ever ask for permission.

I usually just do things without asking for permission.
This may be:
because I do the thing on the spur of the moment, without asking before
or because I just don't feel like I should ask for it.

This caused me to break the rules more than once.

This is something that happened today in school:
writing class teacher: *enters the class during the lunch break, opening the door* why was the door closed?
me and my friend: ...
teacher: doors must be opened during the lunch break. It's a rule. Who closed the door?
me: I did
teacher: ...

The teacher said nothing eventually.
That's probably because my mother (or some other teacher) have told her that I have ODD, or something like that. Dunno...

But really, I didn't know about the rule "doors must be opened during the lunch break", and I didn't feel I should have asked the permission to close the door, so I did.

I hardly ever ask for permission in school, I only do if I must go to the toilet (unless it's during the lunch break) or sometimes when I need to go out of the class.

I don't make a move without first getting permission.

I am asking for permission far too much, and it annoys me.

I've stopped asking for permission quite a few years ago.

I usually ask for permission, but I grant permission quite permissively. isn't that strange? :alien:

next time, don't ask permission to go to the bathroom, just GO there and do your thing! it is your God-given right :bounce: as well as a duty to your body, to not unduly delay such an important task. :salut:
