autistic spectrum disorders in other counrtys

I live in England. The only autistic spectrum disorder book I have read that was written by someone from England was by luck Jackson, most of them (well the ones that have been suggested to me) have been from America. I was wondering if there was a difference between other country and there views on autistic spectrum disorders.

I imagine that there would be.
