I would like to buy a standing desk, but I want one that can be easily adjusted for sitting also. I want a standing desk for the health benefits, but I want to also have the option to sit down when I'm tired!

Does anyone know if these are made? I tried a few searches, but I only came up with either regular desks or standing ones...nothing that can function as both.

I don't know if they make that but you could get a standing desk & a really high chair for when you want to sit.

^ That's a good idea. They tend to have that sort of arrangement at labs, with benches you work at standing up but with tall stools to sit on if necessary.

Glad you think so

Some of the adjustable desk chairs you can get at office supply places go fairly high(mine does) but weather or not it'll be high enough kind of depends on the exact height of the desk & how high you like to sit in relation to it.

That's actually not a bad idea, thanks! I'm not sure how it will look in my apartment, but I'm sure I could make it work.

[Edit: Sorry guys, I thought I was on the "Post something that made you unhappy" thread. My bad :? ]

That's actually a pretty good idea, pal.
Those seats with adjustable height might be good for you. I know it's a pretty common example but they get the job done.
As for the table... There are the ones that are used for electronic pianos. Mine's got a handle and you can easily adjust the height without needing to play with your chair. It'd be a "DIY" table, yeah, but maybe it can work.
