11:19pm, watching SIMPSONS.

My sleep schedule is a mess - the worst I've ever been was a few nights ago, when I was up till almost 5am.

I usually read other people's posts and post to Wrong Planet around this time, just about every night. I have a difficult time falling asleep; I end up starting to fall asleep between 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM. During the week, I sometimes have to wake up at 6:00 AM. This can be difficult sometimes because I only get maybe 5-6 hours of sleep, so I'm kind of tired throughout the day.

I usually go to bed between between three and four a.m., but that might change now that I'm trying to spend less time online.

It's almost midnight here. I came back from work about an hour ago, had a shower and am having iced coffee.

It is almost noon here. I work an evening shift, also, and get home at 12:20 am.

^ So you must be somewhere in the eastern USA or Canada. GMT-4? Finishing work after midnight sounds tough. Here it's GMT+8. I'm doing "afternoon" shift this week (2pm-10pm). I catch the train home. It's really not safe around 10pm but I have no choice.

You are correct. I am in the midwest of USA and in the eastern time zone (daylight saving at this point). Are you in Asia? I work 3:45 pm to 11:45 pm which is nice because I stay up late and get up late. However, if my car were to break down on the way home...

Sounds like, maybe, you don't always work the same shift.

Yeah, that kind of shift suits people who like staying up late and getting up late. I enjoy relaxing till 2, 3 or even 4am after work. You have to have a reliable car to go home that late. But I believe there must still be train/bus services around that time if anything happens.

I live near Perth, Western Australia. Yes, I sometimes do "morning" shift (6am-2pm), which is also not bad. There used to be "night" shift (10pm-6am), which I really liked, but the company is struggling and canceled it.

The power pole in the next street over is malfunctioning and doing a fireworks display outside my window at 3am. Hopefully the energy company will come out soon.

I am, so I posted. Having resigned myself to accepting this will just be a tough year no matter what for me and many good friends of mine, I can accept a whole lot of struggle but I want more sleep...

it would be so nice to be able to sleep whenever I want, and not have to worry about insomnia.

It's 12:21am on Sunday. I feel I wasted my Saturday.
