What's the difference between narcissism and confidence?

I think confidence is more like knowing that you're not perfect in any way, shape or form but being okay with flaws and if you're not okay with the flaws you work towards self improvement.

I think narcissism is more like you genuinely think that you are flawless inside and out but when people tell you that you're not perfect that your self esteem hits rock bottom and you get defensive about it.

Does this make sense?

I think if you told a narcissist that they weren't perfect, he/she wouldn't believe you... in fact they'd probably think you were deranged.

I don't know how many of you are watching the TV drama 'American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace' but the killer, Andrew Cunanan is a narcissist for sure and a quintessential psychopath!

He thinks people are his friends and that they all love him but that's quite so true...
