^^ thanks for sharing your experinces this year (both of you). i'm glad we have a safe space to help us grow

i'll be celebrating new years from the comfort of my couch, rum and coke, hopefully my cat will bless me with her presence

i'm still debating whether to watch the melbourne or sydney fireworks this year, i may set up the spare tv and watch both

so WP, the question i pose to you

I will be listening to my favourite music and when Midnight comes, I'll pop open a bottle of non-alcoholic German wine and enjoy the taste of sparkling wine without getting Sozzled. I'll get Sozzed instead. A half a Sozzle is better than none at all.

You are welcome
I will be watching the ball drop in Times Square on TV and checking in on wrong planet.

You can watch one fireworks display live while recording the other one for later viewing.

That sounds like a very good time, be sure to check out this thread on Nye, I'll also be WP surfing and ready to party

Re: Recording live fireworks
I didn't think of that, that's awesome. Then I can have 2 Nye celebrations instead of one

Music is an excellent way to welcome in the new year, and the benefit of not getting too sozzled is that you'll remember it when you wake up. :D

This song is in a list of New Year's songs and it's my favourite one.

John Lennon was such a Sweet Pea.

I guess everyone knows my favourite Beatle now.

Be sure and eat your blackeyed peas and greens so you will have good luck and wealth in the new year.

Those are two very great songs. I especially like the second video because that song rings true with me.

I want to buy myself a pea green ukulele and practice the song, Happy New Year by Abba so I tape myself singing it in YouTube video and post it in the New Year's Party thread next year.
