I don't know if I'm an atheist or whatever but when I see people praying I can't work out if it's something external or something internal they're talking to and then I'm trying to see if there's something they can see what I Can't. It messes with my head man

It makes more sense to me if they were just talking to themselves

I think it's the believing that it's external to you that's the important part.

I used to pray and derived benefits from it. I took that as proof at the time. God was apparently making me feel better. However, eventually, I noticed that I experienced similar benefits from journaling, meditating, expressive drawing, etc.

I was going to add something inappropriate to that list, but I was able to restrain myself. Weird.

That's how I feel about 95% of the crap I say

It's a weird little sentence someone used to say around me when I was a kid. Now and then it gets lodged in my head.

Yeah it's interesting. I only asked because I saw something on telly (I can't remember what) and it just made me wonder

That flannel hasn't been used in 14 years, Judith.

I've tried Red Instead. I've tried peacoats and I've tried Be a Pea Green. I've only ended up missing Schultzy in the end.

It was not damp. Everyone who lives in this house knows how i feel about that flannel, and you've come in here, moistened it and wiped goodness knows what with it.
