ugh. that's one of the good things about real life I spose.

I come here because I know I can be ME here...

yeah? but your idea of 'me' seems like a form of exhibitionism, you can't expect others to be delighted to have the 'audience' role forced on them. i don't know that the strap stuff is suitable for a general audience either.

Could you explain how it is not suitable?

Some of you might be taking me wrong. It is not in any way sexually related. I'm asexual sex is :eew: to me. If you have read my threads in the past you would learn that really it is a mixed tactile and intellectual obsession. The reason I say tactile is because I find them relaxing. Hah if I had some I wouldnt be up at 1 fourth freaking 7 in the morning posting this

We who are regulars know enough about each other to tolerate, or ignore certain things.

WP posters have told me being freaky gives them a higher tolerance level.

Yes you should prepared to take the feedback when you post. This I think helps theraputically because we can't all stay in a safe world all the time. You should accept that some people are not going to "get " what you are trying to say.

Accept those who piss us off and those who in turn hurt our feelings. We might be from a different planet but were still humans, wer'e predisposed to screw up.

Besides this sites free! Be thankful.

how? it's like a 'bondage' obsession, whether you see it as sexual or erotic not, other people will.

Actually, when I first started seeing Strapples around WP, that was the first thing I thought.

You do realize that would take some surgery, right? That would be expensive, I'd try but most people aren't wild about the idea of being operated on by an unregistered surgeon in the back of a Chinese restaurant. So unless you have the money to make that commitment... :P

I'll go to the best place, Chiba.

nerve-splicing, and microbionics, Chiba was a magnet for the

bondage as an obsession is sexually related. in my case it is related to my SID (Sensory integration disorder) and has nothing to do with sex. Oh and did i mention they are very frequently a component to a powerchair, hence why i have an intellectual obsession with them too... sooo. it goes both ways. tactile + intellectual... tactillectual... hehehe

I stayed out of that thread out of respect for Strapples.

I know he posted in it but the thread was dangerous and I figured it would get out of control quite quickly.

Besides, sometimes I call him Straps, (hope you don't mind) - so saying "I hate straps" could have taken on a personal note.

I understand the need to joke but it's best if we don't joke about each others weaknesses because we all lack a bit of confidence there. Joking about our strengths is ok though.

Gwen locked it because he wanted it to be locked. She thought that was fair enough.

there were a few posts that i considered to be offensive and that the moderator (gwen) found to be semi-offensive and thought you know what this is an early intervention lock... im not letting this progress into a monster..

thats what my thought is on it...

if you want to know exactly what gwen thought ask her..

I agree. I didn't read the thread in question but saw it listed before it was locked and it seemed a thinly veiled attack to me, which isn't necessary.

There are probably people who irritate each of us on here - I hate when people post irrelavent replies to threads, of which there are a few serial offenders - but don't mention anyone by name as this is a site designed to help people, not alienate them further.

If you don't like what someone's posting, don't read it - this shouldn't be too hard unless they attempt to take over threads with their obsession (not minor references), in which case it should be brought up there (but not by ganging up on them).

Can't everyone co-exist?
