How often are you sick?

I haven't had a fever in two years. Illness is a rare thing for me.

I know some people , however, who will fall ill because of the slightest thing.

How about you? Are you the sick puppy type? Fevers, infections, nausea common with you?

(This is a very random topic.)

I rarely ever get sick...I've found I get sick a little more often since I started smoking, though that's to be expected.

I'm very rarely physically ill, but I am prone to suffering from such high levels of anxiety that I feel nauseous and can do very little except languish in bed for days.

I'm a sick person, mentally. All the time.

Usually I rarely ever get sick. But for some freak reason, this year I've had the stomach flu twice and a cold once.

I don't usually get sick, but I've had three colds, this winter.

I used to get sick very rarely. But once I started working full time in an office, I come down with something about twice a year. I blame it on the pressure that exists to not take sick days and come in anyway, a lot of people will be "heroic" and work when they're feeling down but just end up infecting the rest of us.

How often are you sick? never.

Very rarely until I had kids. Now that two of them are in school, I get sick a couple of times a year, but never too bad. It seems I get sick about 10% of the time everyone else in my house gets sick and to a lesser degree for the most part. A couple of years ago we got hit by a 24-hour stomach virus with puking and the other expelling of stuff. That one got me good. I was curled up on the bathroom floor for about 12 hours.

From age 1-5 I was rarely sick. I never really had the whole "toddler snot-ridden nose" that most have at one time when toddlers.

When I started school...up until the age of about 9 years old...I went through a phase of illness. I had chronic sinus infections repeatidley and ended up having to have surgery to have my adnoids removed and sinuses cleared out at the age of 8.5 years old.
I also often had stomach viruses and vomited a lot...probably atleast 15 times per year. I developed Asthma when I was 6 years old and had 4 attacks. I "grew out" of asthma at about age 8-9.

Then after that...I stopped getting as ill and over the past year I haven't even had the "sniffles"...apart from mild hay fever.

I very rarely get really sick. I tend to get a cold a few times a year, that's usually all.

Technically, I'm never sick as far as diseases go. I do however suffer from severe allergies that produce cold like symptoms when I have an attack. This happens 4-7 times a year. I haven't had any other sickness since I was 11 and since allergies aren't a diseases, I've been disease free for over 12 years.

Up until I was 11, I was sick all the time, from colds, flu, etc. Doctors said that as I grew into my teens, my immune system would become very strong and it did apparently.

Just because I posted this, I got a bit of a cold. Ironic.

Sick of being sick topic

I think I was born sick. Germs stick to me like crazy glue. Weak lungs. I sound as though I have TB. I do not smoke. Nothing second hand either. Oh, well. I had better go before I spread the germs.
