I have a test tomorrow
and I don't understand anything
I really need a bit of help

like eg
explain how this works (how to solve)
3x - y = 4
or 2d + 5 - 4d -9

or 3x + 4 +2x -1

You combine the d's (2d - 4d to get -2d) and combine the numbers (5 - 9 to get -4), so that expression simplified is -2d - 4.
