did you know that if a guy wears purple it will magically make them become sexually attracted to people of their own gender? well apparently that's what some people think.

Never heard that before. Well, my dad wore a purple tie on my parents' wedding day, and it doesn't seem to have affected their marriage.

I find pink brings out the gayness more

Agreed, pink is way worse. Dont see a ything wrong with a darker purple... my favorite color in fact.

I think the world needs more gayness.

Purple is a lovely colour. I seldom wear it though, but wore a purple shirt to my sister's wedding.

Only reason I don't wear it more is it's so scarce to find purple clothes. I'd even wear purple running shorts if I could find any!

I sit in a purple armchair, wrapped in a purple blanket whilst wearing a purple shirt, and I still love ladies. But maybe my orientation is just that indomitable?

Well kings traditionally wore purple in days of yore and had they all been gay (many were likely bisexual at any rate) there would have been no one to succeed them on the throne!

Thus the story that colour affects sexuality is a myth!

Purple is the color of royalty. That's because a long time ago purple dye was made from a kind of snail and was very rare and expensive, so it was mainly kings and queens who wore purple.

Then I'm surprised there aren't more gay guys, I guess. Lol.

Does it work on woman-leaning lifeforms too? Dark purple (think The Joker) is my favorite color and I love showtunes. And I vastly prefer womenfolk, romantically/sexually.

Oh my god, this explains so much. I'm not attracted to guys for complicated genetic and environmental reasons that science is only now beginning to understand. It's because I wore that one shirt. The really purple one.
