This is basically a place to talk without feeling like you're spamming :D
It can be good news, bad news, or just a random hello :D

No, they are an alternative rock band. The lead singer is in the White Stripes too, a garage rock band whom I love too 8)

I've actually heard of the White Stripes, they're not too bad.

I'm hungry and there's nothing to eat here.

I wish I lived somewhere where there was transportation service so I could get to a store. I really don't like it here with my dad....it's beautiful outdoors but very isolating. There's no stores nearby except in the stupid a$$ shopping centers that're all together. Why people came up with this mapping plan of where stores should be is beyond me.

Whatever happened to the local convenient stores?

The gas station up the street only sells liquor and cigarettes and little junk foods.

ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!

Sorry ebec I just had to rant in this thread, where I live at is so out of touch with reality.

Don't worry, I ranted about my powerpoint issue (which I want to talk about still!), so you can rant too :D
That is weird 8O ALL together? Maybe they were drunk from all the liquor from the gas station when they though of that

When I go back to college in June, I will have to prepare my university application and send it off in September. I can apply to 5 and my chosen university courses are as follows:

Cambridge university - Social & Political Sciences
Goldsmith's university, Warwick university & York university - Sociology
Loughborough university - Social Psychology

I'm visiting all of the 5 named universities between next week and July.

How did you not get bitten? I would be scared to pet a cougar, but that is so awesome

It's a learning experience - you can work on your social skills in many different situations because of this job :D I had a volunteer job at a special needs movie day (horrible experience since I hate movies, and I actually was forced to watch HSM 1 AND HSM 2!! !), and I was in charge of greeting people as they came in and take their money. (the money part was easy since it was $5 for the movie and there wasn't any tax. Though I'm still mad at the person who came in with a $50 bill and expected there to be enough change 8O ) I worked on my social skills, and now I'm pretty good at small talk
