seriously, doesn't it slightly piss you off that some WP members don't have avatars?

I can't tell them apart at all. I can't picture them in my head. it's like dealing with one person who keeps saying contradicting things- very confusing.

I don't mind people changing them, as long as there's at least some theme or a relation to that persons features or interests.

YOU there with no avatar! go get one!

I have some trouble remembering names and tend remember that which is visual.

So yeah avatars really help!

It does help for people to have avatars as they appear as more then just words, something I can visualise when I need to remember someone.

I'm a visual thinker, so I recognize people by their avatars (with some exeptions). Nobody remember my username, but many remember my previous avatar.

With 21,000++ members of WP, avatars are helpful in identifying each other. Can't quite get upset about it though. :wink:
