I don't know the difference between a fluorescent one and a regular one.

A regular light bulb uses a heated filament (small length of tungsten) to generate light. The bulb contains no air so that the filament will not burn out right away.

A fluorescent bulb uses a tube filled with a certain kind of gas. As electricity as passed through the gas, it gives off energetic particles that hit a coating on the inside of the glass, which gives off light.

Fluorescent bulbs have a gas trapped inside sealed glass tubes and the gas is excited by electricity with the help of a little mercury.

Incandescent bulbs have a tungsten resistance coil in them that glows very brightly when energized in a vacuum. These kinds of lightbulbs don't have any air in them at all. Incandescent bulbs give off more energy as heat than they do as light whereas fluorescent bulbs give off much more light and very little heat.

you mean the ones that are shaped like a coil are fluorescent?

It's kind of like neon only harsher and much more irritating.

And makes even the most beautiful person look horrible.
