Yea and i don't like it. Why? I don't see why I should be forced to transfer all my files through iTunes.

I agree with the above. I really don't like itunes. I have an ipod but never use it because of this. I use my sony MP3 player instead.

No. I prefer to use an iAudio G3, because:
• It transfers music (and other files) just like a flash drive.
• It's small.
• It's powered by the AA battery standard.
• It plays Ogg Vorbis files.
• It records.
• It has an FM tuner.

Other than the fact that I can't fit all of my music on it, or use SDHC cards with it, or have all the features of an Edirol, it's the perfect personal audio device. The fact that it came out 4 years ago, yet I still love it more than an ipod, should tell you something.

No.

Personally I don't like any Mac products, it's not that they are going against the grain, its the way they do it and lie to their users. Its a very communist feel it it.

I buy only Samsung MP3 players - The functionality is better, battery life, quaility of music and price. Also no BS itune .. it works just like a USB drive

you dont have to use itunes, you could use floola instead (its much better)

I have an iPod touch and I love (to touch) it. My last mp3 player was a sony and the sony sonicstage software (illiteration lol) is actually worse than iTunes.

I love my ipod touch, it has wlan, it is... cool.

But i HATE itunes.

I have the old nano ( as in the one before the new ones came in) I got on clearance at walmart. I love ti and it important to me. I like take it everywhere. My mt is even suggesting I bring ti and listen when I get overstimulated. I like itunes cause it is easy for me to use.

I'm on my 3rd iPod, an 80gig video ipod... it's almost full!

I love iPods, iTunes, and Apple computers

I have a Sandisk Sansa 4GB mp3/video/photo player with fm tuner and microphone.
Plays everything, no hassles. Even has an equalizer, which I appreciate.
Can be used just like a flash drive. Incredible functionality.
I'm not sure why people buy iPods, honestly.

I don't have one, because I don't need one. I've never used to just walk around and listen to music.
When I go by train for a longer distance I may bring my discman. So oldfashioned am I.
