Mmm I think that is also in german quite complicated.
Scheide (vagina) is actually just the part inside. using it for the outher genitals is not correct, even though its the word I was taught when I was a girl
Scham (vulva) is to close to "beeing ashamed" and that is somehow like in the last century not like today.
Many other words are childish or dirty
Muschi (p****) is not to bad I think. Reminds me of a sweet cat that wants to be stroked sometimes. But sometimes also wants to hide under the bed. And in french I like the word Kiki (for both men and women) I just realized I never learned the correct word in chinese. My teacher is male so I guess I dont dare asking about it hehe.
I call mine a variety of things, but all cute-related. 'Kitty,' 'kitten,' and so on. The P-word makes me suuuuuper uncomfortable, and I'm not even fully sure why. Same goes for the t-tty word for boobies. Eek!
Usually the most vulgar thing I can think of-- twat, c**t, snatch.
Anatomical terminology if I'm talking to medical personnel or my kids-- vagina.
If I'm trying to be polite-- personal bits.

In casual conversation, p****, twat, or vag....in more formal situations I just use the anatomically correct term. I taught my kids the correct terms for everything but now that they're older and have had exposure to middle school humor, they've heard the "other" words too...

I prefer using technical terms. The vagina doesn't refer to the female genitals as a whole. Sometimes I refer to them as labia which makes up the majority of the female gentials.
