There is some formula where you measure around where the band goes, add so many inches and that's your band size. Measure around the widest point and the difference between that and your first measurement indicates your cup size, but then I think you need to be flexible and check the actual fit so nothing is bulging out, too tight or too loose.

Read posts above. They don't bite.

The only worry I have is: will wearing ill fitted bras for an extended number of years make my breast age and sag sooner? I don't want saggy breasts ever.

Most of my bras feel comfortable, but I don't want something that looks like a maternity bra all in the name of correct fit.

Why maternity?

If you think that maternity bras must be asexual...

Yes, wrong size makes breasts saggy. It also makes fat folds under the armpit.

Some of those a pretty smokin'.

I dunno, most of the bra's you showed pictures of that supposedly fit correctly just look....too big, and cover too much for my liking. I wear low cut tops and don't want my bra cups to make a public appearance by going peekaboo above my top's neckline.

We have the same chests, so our band size is the same. Both bras are the same long.
She has 35" in boobs level, so she wears 32D.
I have 43", so I wear 32HH.

Didn't you say you were a J, not an HH? That first bra has the most enormous cups I have ever seen.

So you have seen not so much in your life. Your pain, your problem.
Sometimes I wear 30J, sometimes 32HH, it depends on band's flexibility (this brand on pic, Ewa Michalak, makes very unstretchy bands) and cups' volume - it's various.
It depends also on my cycle day, water retention etc.

Nevermind you, here's next American shop with bras in many sizes (link):
Top Drawer Lingerie

Everything's relative:

Ewa Michalak makes bras even in sizes like 38L - much bigger than this blue.
Blue bra is made for a girl with 30" under bust and 47,5" in bust.

I would wear a sports bra, they are much more comfortable. And I have a friend with the same problem.

Look for new ones on Ebay. If you want, you can get a new bra in low price.
Or look for sales, especially in Brastop (lingerie online outlet). http://www.brastop.com/default.aspx

As my Mum says, it's just a question of will.
Any problems with size or style, ask me.

You can still get a cleavage with a correct size. It depends on the type of bra. That picture is an ill fitting one, the bra can sit in the right place and push them together i might show you some pics of one of my correctly fitting ones.
