I use Pears transparent soap... the original brownish one... it has a really beautiful & light fragrance.. cos i'm really allergic to strong scents....

the newer greenish pears soap is crap... the people who came up with that godawful stench should be publicly hanged

I recently discovered this line called Nightingale, and its the best soap yet. I am extremely allergic to preservatives like parabens and lots of scents, so this liquid soap has actually restored the resiliance and moisture to my skin. I can safely use it on my face, and it comes in castile soap, and another called sandlewood mandarin. They also make lotion, deoderant and powder. :D

We use Dove in our house.

Shouldn't you be watching for the ever-present threat of anal rape from Big Bertie with a title like that?

i think dove is nice, but it's a bit of a ripoff because the soap (brick) finishes really quickly... the moment a drop of water hits it, it magically becomes half the size (exaggeration alert).... but i only ever bothered to try the unscented one

Uh my mom buys the soap, but I pay no attention to what kind it is, and sometimes I can't even remember the color. I think it's green... 8O

I shower once a fortnight (if I'm lucky)

What form of industrial strength cleaner do you recommend?

My mother does the grocery shopping so I use whatever she buys, usually a cheap brand box of soap bars.

But at the moment my soap is forest green with aloe vera.

I make my own handmade soap. It's much nicer than anything you can buy at a regular store (grocery, WalMart, etc.) My favorites are castile (olive oil) and goat milk. Both unscented or a tiny bit of lavender essential oil. If I ever HAVE to use commercial "soap" (I have soap in quotes b/c they're actually detergent bars, not actual soaps. Sorry, I'm a chemist) the only kind I can use is Dove Sensitive Skin (the white and green box.) I'm very sensitive to fragrances. THe Dove Unscented actually contains a masking fragrance, which is RIDICULOUS, imo.
