Today, people are going to go out of their way to be sarcastic and attempt to trick you. Just a heads up.

Thanks for reminding me, I probably would have forgot to trick someone.

Oh, let the fun begin!

One year, someone tricked me, and then I convinced them that it was the 31st and that they where a day early. Then trying to convince them that I tricked them was the hard part.... lol.

Wonder what Google will do this year....

A few years ago Deviantart changed everyone's avatars to Mudkips (pokemon) with that saying,"so I herd you liek Mudkips". The meme of the day I guess. Anyway, I always forget and fall for April FOols tricks.

They have a 3D version of Google Chrome and you get to print out your own glasses.

FarmVille is allowing players to TP a neighbor's barn for April Fool's...

Can't wait to see what Blizzard has up their sleeves this year!

I was going to use an avatar with only Ray Davies, the leader of my band, but that would be an insult to God, who didn't make me, such a thin leader, so I'm using one of him playing a bit of a prank on Mick, by pretending to be Gay. 8)

I hate April fools day. I always end up looking stupid. It's just an opportunity for people who don't like me to humiliate me 'legitimately'.

I've decided I love April Fools day. Fun jokes and funny stories. Goofy things happen online. One year I couldn't even login my youtube account and the next day I could. I figured it was an April Fools joke so I didn't panic.

But I do think the line needs to be drawn for jokes like if you wish to play a trick on someone, you need to know where to draw the line and when to stop.

Oh yeah and I confess I am an NT who has pretended to have AS over the last three and a half years and pretended to be a young woman.

As with all yokes, they are only funny if everybody involved can laugh about them. (after the initial shock/surprise)

Beyond this it soon becomes bullying or bad taste.

I wish I read this warning before doing anything else online. I hate this holiday. I refuse to participate. I'm staying home. I just keep doing double-takes online . . . then going, oh, yeah, it's that day.

I hear ya. I was chatting online last night with some people about April Fools Day and the various pranks that were going to be played, and then this morning I played along with a prank - because that's what you do, right? - and got it in the neck because suddenly everyone had come over all concerned about the feelings of the person being pranked. I think next year I'll just take the day off and stay in bed.
