Do you ever stim because you were bored?

My stimming is usually done involuntarily and I don't think I do it more when I'm bored, but I notice it more that I'm doing it if I'm not doing anything else. I fidget when I'm bored, but I don't know if that's stimming or just fidgeting.

Like Dots said, I usually stim involuntarily. I usually stim the most whenever I'm listening to music.

I don't, because when I'm bored, I take a nap, or if it's a late enough time in the evening, I go to sleep. Well, maybe posting on WP is my main stim, because I love to move my fingers around the keyboard and watch the letters go on the screen.

No, I don't stim out of boredom, per se. BUT, certain situations that can cause boredom can also cause me to stim. Like waiting for my ride to show up, for example.

The one thing I cannot handle is intense boredom. For me, boredom is worse than physical pain. If I had been run over by a truck but had acess to books that were relivant to my intrests, my laptop and my painting supplies I don't think I would even notice the pain. I used to bite myself out of boredom because I would get so frustrated and feel as if my head was going to explode if I wasn't doing something. Yes, I stim when I am bored. Being bored makes me anxious and stims help relive anxiety.
