Well, there's often the syndome of the month promoted by the news media which is aimed at those with hypocondriatis. Lately, the food recall news has been quite active with exhortations to avoid eggs/salmonella. If one is into the idea of avoiding plants and wants to avoid plants, the science fiction movie comedy Little Shop of Horrors may help to avoid plants which prey on innocent humans for breakfast.
