That's hardly old. I love this song:

That's about 70 years old.

We tend to be less affected by peer pressure, which often influences musical tastes.
Though a preference for music from the 80s and 70s is rather common.

yeah i think we're less affected by peer pressure. it gives us a chance to freely explore different aspects of music, movies and television. i especially love old movies. my music varies a bit. i definitely don't like popular music these days. the newest radioesque thing i listen to is coldplay. of course, i hate their newest album. three good songs and that's about it.

Seems like I would like it better if the video had better quality.

That's not old! Try tunes like the Chorus Jig, which is close to 300 years old.

I enjoy all kinds of music. I'll listen to anything that's pleasing to the ear, whether it came out last month or hundreds of years ago.

Umm. I like old music. I listen to the "oldies" station which plays music from the 1950's, 1960's 1970's, 1980's 1990's and some easy listening modern stuff. It is unfortunate that the really oldies station shut down. They played stuff from the 1940's too!

I like stuff from the 1930's, 1940's. Even stuff that was popular at the turn of the century!

It's funny, I work in a nursing home. I play this stuff for the older people living there (average age is 80 something). I listen to the same stuff at home because I like it.

I will say that you made me feel like a living fossil by referring to music of the 1980's and 1990's as "old" 8O

Same here. I like a lot of current pop hits but I also like a lot of stuff from the 90s, 80s ect. Some 70s are good to. I used to listen to oldies as well but I worked as a dishwasher at IHOP for 10 months & all they played was oldies. I haven't listened to it much sense. My special interest rite now is comedy music & I understand the parodies better if I know the originals so it makes sense for me to like a wide range of music

I don't think aspies 'tend' to like any certain type of music, more than NTs tend to listen to a certain type. I like this cover of "I Will Survive"

I don't think it's an aspie thing, I think it's more of a preference. I for one can't stand listening to old music (especially if it is older than I am). The only think old I'd possibly listen to is orchestral music
