I was especially upset about the frame 54 seconds into it. What do all of you think?

And at 14 seconds in this one.

What? You mean to say that you are upset by the autism speaks sponsorship? Gee, it must have never occurred to him that that would scare away half his audience.

I very much enjoyed the interview. Steve Silberman sounds like a really nice guy.

At least it's refreshing to see Autism Speaks' name associated with some quality productions for a change, instead of another god-awful scare-tactic commercial.

There may be hope for them yet... :colors:

would you rather they spent their money on more scare tactic advertisements? because if they hadn't spent money on this, what do you think they would be supporting?

Try to judge this video based on the content of the show, and i think you'll be pleased.

how do you expect an organization like that to change if no one tries to change the way they operate?

Still, you know how much Autism Speaks is hated here.

You mean, you don't care that money that should be going to help Autistic people is still going to finding the genetic cause to "prevent" Autism.. Because they are sponsoring Autism Talk TV? And that Alex has basically soiled the WrongPlanet name by giving credence to their cause by taking their money?

Don't be melodramatic. Alex's intentions were good.

I do find it odd that Alex would choose to asociate with an organisation that has such a bad reputation among the community.

I'm not being melodramatic. Alex's intentions weren't good. Alex's intentions were to make money on a degree he gained. He has every right to do that, but he also must accept the consequences of his actions.

It's odd, yes. However, Alex just wants support for his videos and to spread POSITIVE awareness. He most likely feels this is a good step forward if Autism Speaks supports a positive Autism series.

Read above.

Some people don't want Wrong Planet to be associated with such an organization, which is understandable.

that's complete BS. I'm not making any money with this. All the money we've raised is going towards traveling to interview autistic people and their families and to pay for equipment. You're making assumptions without having all the information.
