A couple.

Groups of like minded people usually don't like opposing views, no matter if they contain nothing but an idea without conflict.

I think...banning is the ultimate defeat for the people who do such (if it wasn't due to some "genuine" juvenile reason that is). The destruction of diplomatic discussion is the beginnings of prejudice and conflict.

Me neither. The moderator of a music software users group stopped one of my messages being posted because he said it was off topic, and I also got asked to stop fanning the flames during a crack war - that's when people who approve of pirated software and people who don't approve of it hurl mindless abuse at each other, rather like the abuse we throw here when it's a religion topic. Anyway I saw the truth in the idea that such arguments never do any good, so I stopped.

No bans yet.

However I have received a "final warning" on the World of Warcraft forums and a suspension on the Escapist (along with multiple probations/warnings).

I joined the Landover Baptist forums and pretended to be a gay male. I told one of the moderators that his avatar was cute. BANNED!

I get banned from forums for pointing things out.

I was on a David Icke forum and the owner didn't want anyone using curse words. Well, in one of David's books he talks about how those words shouldn't be made a big deal out of when there's wars and other REAL terrible things going on in the world. So I thought it was a bit ridiculous to ban curse words on a David Icke site. If you read his material enough to create a group out of it, shouldn't all readers of his material not give a damn about a few F words?

I've been banned from two forums:

First for making an inappropiate sexual comment (by mistake!), I kinda deserved that one.

Second time for typing in my password wrong to many times, luckily I was unbanned shortly after.

Yeah, I got a lifetime ban from David Ickes forum, wasnt even for anything I posted, seems one of the mods was reading peoples private mail and didnt like the way I agreed with somebody who had been warned about using the "J" word.

I bumped into a couple from the forum at work when I noticed thier Icke tee shirts, they told me about the moderator and that he had been got rid of, said I should rejoin but I got fed up with the constant bickering on that forum from people who can only except thier own world view.

Its nice to be able to say I got banned from David Icke though, people think I must be really wierd to get banned from David Icke who thinks the elite are reptiles, like my own ideas must be even more bizzaire or something.

I was banned from some women's forum after I said that I opposed Prop 8 in California, and the reason I was banned, was that the moderators were all strong supporters of that measure.

I got banned from 4chan even though I didn't even post once, just browsed? :?
I once got banned on here for like half an hour, but it wasn't a proper ban it was more a problem with the site that sorted out when I turned the wireless off and on again.
I got banned from aspievillage a few years back because I wasn't active and wasn't posting.

Ford currently tops the reliability of American manufacturers, has for a long time AFAIK I knew a girl with 300K on her 80s CV with a 302. POS and 400+hp don't go together very well anyways, especially when said car gets mid 20s MPG.

Porsche is not up there with BMW. BMWs are winning Lemons left and right, if Porsches were as reliable it would be 944s instead. BMW powered the McLaren F1, Porsche powered the CGT. Of the two I'd prefer a F1. Seriously why a V10 Porsche? You can make a V8 better than that! V12 is where it's at, coincidentally Jaguars and BMWs have the cheapest V12s. Also the CGT looks like a Porsche limo due to poor design but it only seats 2! With that long of a deck it should have a tailgate.
