R.I.P. Demetrious Haracopos

on december 28th, 2011 the most significant autism psychologist of denmark, Demetrious Haracopos, sadly died at age 71.

this wonderful greek/american empathic human, who chose denmark to be his home, will be missed a lot among all who have met him and benefitted form his knowledge and wisdom.

some of his knowledge will live on in the books he wrote about autism.

I don't know what's appropriate to say, so I'd just say I feel with you. Hope his work will live on.

think of him as being the greek/american/danish "tony attwood"… a pioneer for the last 3-4 decades in understanding autism.

RIP to a great man.

He died the same day as my dad over five years ago. A day after my birthday, eerie.
