I am looking for some good Chewable jewelry. I would like to try it. I often have the urge to chew plastic, and so I hoped this might help. If you use it, what doe sit feel like? what brand are you using? i want something in a fun shape like an elephant or a bunny.

i have never heard of chewable jewelary but when i was a kid i used to make bracelets out of gimp and always enjoyed chewing on them lightly. they broke after a while but they were cheap to make. i think it's called plastic lace now or something like that

Sometimes I find a random bit of that in an old box and chew on it. But I don't like the texture of it when doubled. did you use one strand or more?

I've never heard of it before. Do you get a deal where if you buy 5 you get a free hockey helmet? :P

I at first thought you were talking about those candy necklaces we used to have as kids.

Do you mean stuff like this instead?

It looks like this?

I've used them before. I don't know what to say. They're cold and you chew on them and if you use them in public you're going to be stared at. Much better for me to chew on my sleeve or hair, or fingers, and at least that isn't as abnormal and doesn't hurt my jaw.

I've always found jewelry of any kind gross and unnatural, so I would never use that kind.

It looks like the biggest company is something called Dr. Bloom's Chewable Jewels.

http://www.chewablejewels.com

I Googled around, and couldn't find anything exactly like what you're looking for. I found elephant pacifiers, which I suppose one could get away with pulling out and chewing if one had the metaphorical testicular fortitude to do such. I also discovered that one should never Google for "bunny silicone keyring."

I think your best bet is to find a nontoxic silicon keychain you could clip to your collar or something. I've noticed many people chew things like pens, pencils, and even keyrings, without seeming to be embarrassed.

You'd have something chewable which can be made into jewelry, and which looks more interesting than many of Dr. Bloom's products.
