What kind of humour do you like/have? I have communication problems but a good sense of humour, it can be a bit bizarre or dark but I enjoy laughing with people, mind you sometimes people are laughing AT you not with you, its great when its the latter.

I have very simple humour, particularly puns, double meanings and sarcasm. I like comedies such as The Two Ronnies, QI, and The Munsters. Everyone in my class has a different sense of humour, and they think that just because I don't laugh at what they consider to be humourous, they think I don't have a sense of humour. :?

I've always liked puns and 'wordplay'. Also various sitcoms that I
think are well-written- eg Frasier,Cheers,Fawlty Towers,Only Fools &
Horses. Since discovering AS I can relate to 3rd Rock From The Sun
as it's about being on the wrong planet. (that was an example of
wordplay,albeit a mild one)

I'm guessing you enjoy Mr Bean as well... Call me psychic. :)

I like deadpan, like Peter Sellers on The Party or Rowan Atkinson in Johnny English (and Mr Bean).
According to Wikipedia:

Quote:
Deadpan is a form of comedic delivery in which something humorous is said or done by a person, while not exhibiting a change in emotion or facial expression.

I guess I also laugh at "dry" humor. I don't know if that's the right word. It's kind of like a softer black humor mixed with irony. For instance, when in the news I read a political statement thats so stupid it makes me laugh, but at the same time it's sad and frustrating that people like that lead the world.
I think it's also called wry or sardonic.
Sometimes people give me weird looks when I laugh at these times, because they think... Well, I think they think I'm thinking something entirely different from what I'm really thinking.

And random humor, of course!

I truly like sarcasm, very much as in The Blackadder (Best Series Ever!) satire and a really strange kind of humor, for which I do not no the name, it might be Wit...

I am into most styles of humour, most things amuse me. As for making people laugh, I seem to do that a lot, I don't know why. I don't try to be funny or anything. I've been told by loads of people that I'm funny for being myself.

I prefer slapstick humor (a la Zucker Bros.) and turlet* humor.

Tim

note: Turlet is how Archie Bunker pronounced toilet on All in the Family/Archie Bunker's Place

Oh! That's adorable!

I'm a master of deadpan. I love to be chatting with someone and I'll drop the most absurd or perhaps dark statement right at the end while keeping my expression deadpan. When they look at me, I smile, then they realize I was joking and it's such a relief that they have to laugh. My friends are quite used to it but I still manage to catch them off guard.

I like clever wordplay, and share Pluto's liking of Frasier and Cheers. I also find Seinfeld highly amusing. I can sort of identify with the character of George. I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Series 7 on DVD.

In the past I tried to use humour to gain acceptance in peer groups. I made zany off-the-wall observations from the words people said. Sometimes this was at my own expense. I've since learnt that this is not good for my self-esteem, and so I play it straight more of the time now. My family have said that they preferred theo zany, witty guy before, but I think you need to be true to yourself.

I'm probably not the only 26-year-old that likes those things.

I like wordplay and puns (but not the groan standard 'jokes.')
I also like sarcasm, irony, dry wit and...toilet humour. I've obviously inherited the last one from the rest of the family.
