Who here has seen this movie?

I want to start a discussion of the social model presented in the movie as it relates to AS. I think there is something very interesting going on here....

I saw it, but it was years ago. What did you wish to say about it?

Saw the movie, didn't seem anything special. Came out in mid-90's, set in the 70's featuring graduating & prospective high school students. The character making a bong in woodshop class was amusing & I wish I had one of those bizarre "egg"-shaped chairs, like the main character. Otherwise, it was yet another painful depiction of ritualized cruelty based on arbitrary hierarchies.
A subplot concerned "uncool" kids trying to find a party, having to bluff their way into the crowd awkwardly. I could relate to that feeling, though don't consider it specific/unique to AS dx.
