Try entering any celeb name in google and add Asperger's. God, every single soul on earth has Asperger's according to the Internet info... :?

Insane, insane, insane. Humans can be so clueless.

I find it amusing how people who supposedly cannot relate to others do such to relate to others.

Big deal if Jesus, Moses, or Allah had AS, I don't care at all; they're not me.

This.

It's also both funny and annoying how people try to piggyback on the accomplishments of others-

"Einstein had Asperger's so I'm a higher being even though I live in my parents' basement, never wash and can't hold a 5-minute conversation! Image "

That too.

Ok, I get how some may be rather low on the self-esteem, and the accomplishments of people they see as the "same" as them can help, but in the end, it's hollow. You make your own way, whether it's being homeless or owning Microsoft; both are equally valid in this life, and one isn't necessarily better than the other. The homeless person who hasn't hurt a fly is far more morally sound and just than the cutthroat executive who steps on anything in his or her way (just one of a zillion examples).

I think almost anybody can have at least one autistic trait. The problem is people forget that one trait does not a diagnosis make. You got to factor in severity too. A trait might be merely quirky for one but disabling for another. I'm frustrated with all the "Insert celebrity name here is insert single autistic trait, do they have Autism?" threads.

We should make a list of people who DON'T have AS, according to the internet.

3 Internet Pastimes:

1. Diagnosing historic figures with AS
2. Diagnosing celebs with AS
3. Diagnosing fictional characters with AS

I googled Joely Richardson and aspergers and came up with nothing and then I google her mother Vanessa Redgrave and one of my old posts popped up here from 2009. It was a sarcastic response I made in a thread about celebrities and AS.

HAHA, I kept looking up people until I came across someone that google didn't say had it. It was Ric Flair.
