don't think theres much point in asking the government, they probably already know and are trying to clamp down on all disability with their austerity measures, since it takes up like 20% of the welfare budget, once they get the picture of how much of a spectrum it is, they will always see it as just one big group. I can speak through experience that the assessment has only 2 criteria that I could have scored on: social communication and daily living. Whilst I could have been awarded enough for minimum allowance of ESA or PIP (awarded and assessed by same people (Atos)) i was awarded 0 because I was able to get there on my own, passed a fitness test by pressing against my fingers and could speak without guidance.
