Sometimes, but it's never true. I don't talk about things I like usually, I don't know how.
I can talk about things that 1) other people are talking about or 2) that I've been talking about with someone else before but when I talk about what I want to talk about, it's usually fairly short.
So, when I do my best to talk without letting the other person have a word in, it's to stop them from talking because I can't answer them if the ask more, I don't understand them or the conversation is too difficult for another reason.
People can't tell and will assume that I must now be doing a monologue and that I accidentally ignore them.
No, it's called "doing it on purpose". When I admit that I don't understand, people just go on and on and on to try to make me understand, then seem to get frustrated with me.
