I like the sound of water moving (rain, river, pool etc.), and wind and crunching leaves.
Water and wind related sounds seem to be common ones in this thread.

Book pages turning. Heavy books closing. Piano and violin music. Drum beats.

I love the feeling of rain but I hate the sound of it. Thunder is scary.

Oh yes! Someone else said popcorn. I love the sound of popcorn! Also the smell. And the taste. :P

How can you like chewing, that noise drives me crazy. The weird thing though is that if I'm chewing it doesn't bother me, but if it's anyone else I get annoyed and cover my ears. I really like the sound of people drumming their fingers on tables and stormy weather.

Like I said, it depends on the person and the food. If for example someone I like is eating an apple in a civilised way, then I like the noise. If someone I can't stand is chewing gum with his mouth wide open then I want to punch him.

Yesterday when I was at work I discovered that I apparently like the sound of machines squeaking. :D The machines in that room are very loud, but fortunately they create a lot of white noise, and yesterday that one machine made a short sqeaking noise every fews seconds or so and for some reason it sent chills down my spine (the good kind).

That little sound in Tetris, on the original Game Boy, when you finally lose your life.

I can't really describe it in text.

i like the sound of rain (preferably heavy) on a corrugated iron roof above the room which i am sleeping in. i can not experience that sound at the moment because i have a tiled roof.

i like the sound of distant thunder as i drift off to sleep.

i like the sounds of wildlife communicating with each other. i like to hear birds and insects chirping and rattling out their sounds.

i like to hear clocks (actually just one clock) ticking as i go to sleep. it is so regular that it anaesthetises me and pulls me into a trance procedure that is a march into sleep.

I like many sounds that other "normal" people might dismiss otherwise.

Some of my favorite sounds include:
1. Rain, distant or light thunder.
2. Wind blowing through the trees or just wind in general.
3. Things plopping into water, like jumping fish.
4. Chainsaws, and other various power tools.
5. Printers.
5. Windows start-up noise.
6. And the old, glitchy sound of a dial-up modem connecting to the internet.

There are others but these are the first that came to mind.

i guess would best be described as "Natural sounds", Weather, Animals. stuff like that.

Dog barking for 10 hours straight very uncool

Natural animal sound like birds stuff like that every cool and relaxing.

Also i very much like living in areas that have as much nature as possible, for some reason i feel a lot more at home there, everything is just more peaceful. I wonder if life would just be better living alone in the middle of a forrest. I guess would miss my internet and PC though.

I use this site often when i go to sleep or relax.

crickets chirping in the evening... birds singing in the morning, airplanes, the wind blowing in the trees, bjork or tori amos, or cecilia bartoli singing, repetitive sounds like chanting native american songs with drum or flute accompaniment umer hot tea being poured, a sweet lady humming softly to me.

leblanc BBb contrabass "paperclip" clarinets
wuritzer theatrical pipe organs, along with their "toy counter" special effects/percussions
burbly big old pre-emission-control-era v-8 engines
the effervescent fizz of fresh carbonated drinks
the silence of being way out in the countryside, with just the gentle breezes rustling through the tree branches
the deep rumble of distant thunder
the ORSI BBb contrabass saxophone, a mighty beast bigger than its player
the mighty contrabassoon
the concert thunderdrum
the hyper-contrabass viol
the sound of an air conditioner in the summer, and a heater in the winter
radial airplane engines
the sound of one's breath crackling in the icy dry cold
