Oh gosh, how awful! :( Poor auntblabby! :( I'll send him a PM - maybe when he gets back on the site he'll have a whole bunch of nice PMs to let him know he was missed during his absence.

Tell him we miss him and we will be thinking of him!

You're in my thoughts, Auntblabby. I hope your healing goes rapidly with the fewest possible complications (that is, zero).

gone through the whole pins in the arm thing. it sucks, its slow to heal. you have to get the cast changed like every 2 weeks. getting the pins pulled out is an even weirder feeling.

Wow... I just saw this. I hope he isn't in too much pain and he is able to get the things he needs to do done. I worry about this happening to me when I run on roadways and what if. I wish I was in his neck of the woods to give him a helping hand if needed.

How is the deer?

(and wishing AB a prompt and full recovery, and lots of pampering from the family!)

many thanx to you ALL :!: crying in gratitude! :o  :D typing one-handed so message is terse. to answer moondust about how is the deer, chances are it already has a bullet with its name on it, as i live in hunting territory. i don't wish it harm, as my cheap bike is equally at fault for depositing me on the pavement via the chronic misbehavior of a badly designed rear wheel rim which kept on popping back tires.
at sis' house in town. sufficient help, grateful. :) i'm leftie so of course that would HAVE to be the broken one. as they say, those are the "breaks."

Hey, bro! At least you're improving! You're writing longer messages now! But please focus on rest, okay? Now that you're in recovery, it's time to possibly have a sleeping schedule like a newborn. Like a newborn, your body is working overtime to heal itself of trauma... trauma of hitting the pavement or being born into the world in the first place!

Well, do what you wish... but at least as a friend, I have a "free pass" in nagging you. Just a tiny bit. :3

...uh, right? :P

See you on Saturday(?)! :) :salut:

Nah, not too much rest, at least not from our threads, please.

If you're being born again, please don't be born an NT, we like you the way you were just fine!

How about you adopt the deer, for a full healing experience? And what was her cooperation in the accident?
