Does anyone here have this problem? Lately, it has been so intense with me that it is making it harder for me to get done with what I want to have done in the day. Daydreaming and listening to music also go hand - in - hand with me. It also gets worse under stress.
Sometimes I handle this well by writing a schedule for my day, but I don't like the idea of every single aspect of my life too planned out. Does anyone have any other techniques for dealing with this?

I do this a whole lot. I think it may be a coping mechanism akin to a timeout.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who did this. What you describe I do exactly the same. Sorry but I don't know what else to do to get past this. I embrace it now. Of course I get reality and day dreaming mixed up a lot but since I avoid people no one notices.
