Do you consider yourselves geeks or nerds as has been commonly put upon us? I'm more of a voyeur.

I'd say I am, actually. From what I know, geeks often have a strong connection with computers (yes, I'm oversimplifying, but it's easiest). The only difference is that I don't care at all about computer hardware; I'm all about the software.

I'm a geek. A loud and proud Aspie geek.

Nah, I don't think I'm a geek, but I've got the knowhow to make me look like one. Fortunately, I happen to be able to articulate this information in such a way so as to give the illusion that I'm not a geek in the usual sense of the term.

Although evidently not right now.

i can put computers together from spare parts. I love computer but not as much as art. my love of computers came from wanting one but couldnt afford one, so i would just pick up computers that people threw out and put parts together and build it myself. and when it died, i would find more and get another one working, until that one died. then one day i could afford one, and bought one new.

so no more fixing up old computers for me.

There are lots of different "definitions" for "nerd" and "geek." I think a nerd is just somebody who's book smart, somebody who enjoys learning, but is socially accepted. I think a geek is somebody who is so intensely passionate about learning that it's over the top, and somebody who is socially awkward- in other words, an Aspie. You have to be smart to be a nerd, but you have to be a high-functioning autistic to be a geek...

I tend to think so.

I don’t think I’m a geek because I love writing and reading but I’m not good at spelling
And I love science but I’m not good at math.

Yeah I'm a geek, I'd be disappointed and unfulfilled in life if I wasn't.
