I tend to find myself talking over people more then interrupting them. I'm able to avoid interrupting far better then overpowering.

Yes. Frequently. It frustrates everyone around me. I apologize, but I can't seem to control it. I realize I'm doing it a second too late.

Yup. That sounds familiar. Luckily the people I interrupt the most understand and will stop me if they do get annoyed.

I'm very quiet as an adult but I think I did it more as a child.

Constantly. If I don't say something when I think of it I'll either forget by time it's my turn, or I won't hear anything you say because I'll be concentrating on not forgetting my point.

I almost never interrupt peope, but they tend to abuse that, so they sometimes disable work related communication from me to others. I am often interrupted by people.

People don't notice that I want to say something, or that I am already talking.

When I was younger I did, now not so much.

I try to find breaks in the conversation to speak up but I usually just end up talking over someone anyway.

I used to interrupt all the time, but I rarely do it anymore. When I do, it's not because I'm trying to be rude. It's because I tend to get excited about certain things, and then words just spill out of my mouth like verbal diarrhea.

All the time. It's a huge problem for me, especially when I'm talking online with my other aspie friends. It's really annoying.

I used to do it a lot more as a kid but I was more talkative when I was little than I am nowadays. I think part of why I did it was because others would talk on & on without giving me a chance to join in because they assumed I didn't know what the conversation was about or was smart enough to have constitutive things to contribute. The other reason is that I didn't know when it was my turn to speak because of my Aspie issues.
