After a nightmare. I suspect I move during my sleep.

I tend to forget to drink enough liquids and end up getting dehydrated. My doctor and specialist have both told be I have to be better at drinking more water.

Maybe you need to drink more water?

What do you mean face painful? Like your jaw? You could be grinding your teeth.

I always wake up dehydrated, I have to have a bottle or two of water next of my bed so I don't feel sick in the morning. I imagine living in the desert plays a part but I've been like that since before I moved out here tho.

I'm NT and I have the same thing. I clench my jaw. Not sure about the thirsty part, but anxiety sometimes causes dry mouth, so maybe it's that.

A dry mouth in the morning could also be a warning sign of diabetes. I speak from personal experience.

I'm sure it's not that. My fasting blood sugar has always been normal (including as recently as last month) and when I take random tests with my glucometer I'm typically at most in the low 100s mg/dL; there are times where I ate a sugary thing, and my blood sugar would be like 80-something a couple hours after.

Also, my lipids, except for HDL cholesterol, are normal.

We've been keeping up with this more because I'm on olanzapine, which has caused me to gain wait.

from personal experience, a dry mouth In the morning could also be caused by chronically inflamed sinuses and/or forced air heating in the cooler months.

My nose was stopped up.

you could start using a nasal steroid at night just before you retire. if the room is too dry you might get a humidifier.
