Do you feel involved??

I do feel that I'm part of something sometimes; example: I do feel that I'm part of my class but I never feel involved with others who are also part of it, I feel like I'm only watching
Do you usually feel involved with others??

No because I am extremely anxious and have many inhibitions that prevent me from engaging.

The best way I'd describe it is that I'm watching the "character" I play from inside my head. When I'm at work, for example, and interacting with others, it's like I'm playing a Video Game and have got to a bit where I have to choose a response from a multiple choice list of phrases . . . it's like "what should my character say?" as opposed to what I actually think or feel.

Since 1974 I felt like an observer rather than a participant its rather like watching EastEnders or Coronation Street. William Shakespeare did say all the world's a stage.

This is extremely common in aspies. It's probably the primary origin of the "wrong planet" type of perspective.
It's as if we are aliens sent here to observe the humans.
I think It's a type of mental dissociation.
