Tyler the Creator is intentionally provocative and runs the usual gamut of bigotry, homophobia and sexism... More than anything, he probably just thinks he's being clever. Not the biggest fan, but the video clip for his track 'Yonkers' is really confronting, so I respect him for actually having half a brain unlike most commercial rappers.
I'm not offended, but then again I saw Jim Jefferies (an Australian standup comedian known for being intentionally abrasive, very sexist, racist and homophobic, and freaking hilarious...) rip on autistic people for about 20 minutes at one of his shows and thought it was some of the funniest standup I've ever seen. My friend saw his latest show and he apparently spent a long time discussing how he himself was recently diagnosed.
