Following random co-incidence with wper,

I go to the local park when I am stressed or need to relax and I swing.

This has occured at 4am :thumright:

I will be purchasing one when I move out.

Ah the confession...

Swing anyone?! ! :?

Ever notice that, as an adult, one cannot sit on a swing for very long without getting sick and nauseated...yet, as a child, one can
swing for hours and not feel "sick?"

I adore swings! I feel awkward swinging on them as an adult. It's much better if I can persuade a child to accompany me. :)

There's an indoor swing that hangs from a C-frame, costs a mere $600 + tax. Right after I get a trampoline, right?

Stim swing topic

I was lucky as a kid as we had two swings in the basement. They were for winter and bad weather days. I always loved to swing, as it was like a stim. The u-shaped swings, however, are murder on the butt!

Ahh, swings.

I used to live where there was a swingset right outside my apartment. On a nice day when I was stressed, I could swing for hours.

I remember one time I went outside at 1:26pm to swing, and stayed until it started to get dark outside, around 7:30pm.

My butt hurt after that.

That is totally Aspie of you and it sounds like something I would do. I like the Pirate Ship at a local amusement park for the same reason. The rocking motion releases chemicals in my brain that help ease discomfort I may be experiencing and I experience discomfort constantly. I have adapted and learned to put up with it. I am so accustomed to it I don't know anything else so, to me, it's a normal state.

:) Actually loathe trampolines, fall off the things.

Don't feel awkward these days, not since accepting the world is full of inconsiquential moments, at 343.21 quid, excellent!

There is a little park with a swing set down the street from where I live. I like swinging on it; it's very relaxing. But if I do it too much I start feeling motion sickness.

Hmm, that hasn't happened to me. :?

Anyhow, I love swings. I go to the park for the swings, and nothing more.
I am normally on one of those things for at least an hour.

....
Swings don't like overweight people though. :? My thighs always get rubbed and raw. Ouch.
