Is talking in your sleep an Aspie trait?

I used to walk in my sleep and mumble when I was little, but not now (that I know of anyways).

I did, mostly when I was a little kid. Never heard of it being Aspie though.

NO... at least I don't think so.

I'm just and Adder, but I have always talked in my sleep and even moved a little as if I am moving in my dream.
My mom used to tell me that, and my former wife did also.

Sometimes I wake up and have the distinct feeling that I was talking out loud... don't know why.

I used to walk in my sleep as a child especially when I had fevers.
I don't do that anymore.... that anyone has mentioned... although I get accused of it at work sometimes

Personally, I'd have as much of a clue if I talk in my sleep as a driver knowing if his tail lights were not working.

No one ever mentioned me talking in my sleep growing up at home, nor at the boarding school I attended.

As for it being strictly associated with Asperger Syndrome... many people on the autism spectrum or not have various sleep disorders.

About a year ago, my girlfriend at the time told me I talk in my sleep. I was spending the night at her place, and I guess she woke up before me. During breakfast, she mentioned that I was mumbling something, and according to her, I was saying actual words, although she didn't say what exactly I was saying. Perhaps it was things from my dreams.

I wouldn't say it's an aspie thing per se. It's more of a stress-induced thing. When I used to live with my parents (I don't now), I fought with them constantly. So the associated stress manifested itself as talking in my sleep.

I don't know, I'm always asleep when I sleep.

I had a roomie all through undergrad and now again as a grad, and apparently I talk in my sleep a lot, but especially when I'm under pressure. Mostly it seems that I spend a lot of my unconscious time cussing people out.
