What do you mean?
I don't want to meet them or anything. This person doesn't live in the same country, so it's not like anything would happen anyway. I just mean I think most girls would find it irritating if they knew I liked them. Well, I guess anyone would, but maybe more so with girls.

Like them like what a friend or romantically? Hetro girls I know do have a thing about not getting on with girls. It is pretty weird I guess. There is some sort of rivalry, I'm yet to understand. But I think you'll be fine you are in no way a threat to them.

As long as you don't constantly contact this person, I don't think there's any reason why she (I'm assuming they're female, so sorry if I'm wrong! ;^^) should be scared off. 
Perhaps just say that you noticed her posts and thought she seemed cool, and perhaps try to get a conversation on both your interests going. You never know what will happen until you try!
